Youth Digital Skills with FAWEZA

Kwimbo works with FAWEZA The Forum for African Women Educationalists of Zambia to promote access to quality and inclusive education for women and girls.
The project will specifically target youths (secondary school leavers) of whom the majority will be female. The project is expected to enhance and build the capacity in digital skills of 360 youths annually (secondary school leavers) in Zambia via online platform.
Brighter Futures Africa

Kwimbo’s online platform – Brighter Futures Africa (BFA) aims to build a future where talent is recognised and rewarded to create a brighter world for all. This virtual platform was built to support young people to further their education based on the belief that all students have equal rights to access quality education. It provides equal access to further learning and skill development opportunities to all Zambian students through the applications of grants, scholarships, and support.
Disability Support

Kwimbo works with rehabilitation centres focused on provision of therapy to children and elders living with disabilities. This project will focus on provision of special education to children living with disabilities so that they are able to attend school and gain an education. It will also support their families with provision of food and other materials required.
Anti-Gender Based Violence

Preventing Gender Based Violence and abuse in Zambia through advocacy for women’s rights and support for victims including women and children. Prevention through Advocacy, Education and support through One Step Centre (OSC) and Safe house. Currently victims are referred to One Stop Centres but only 4 OSC which are understaffed and under-resourced with only one nurse, no social workers, no counsellors. Kwimbo is working to support the hiring of social workers, full-time doctors, and counsellors to attend to victims on site.
